Hey everyone. It has been quite some time since I’ve done a phone review (due to lack of phones to review =P). But now I’m back with a review of the value for money Redmi 1S. I know it is a little late and numerous sites have already reviewed it some time ago but it never hurts to get yet another opinion on something before buying it, right? The full review (very lengthy) comes up right after the break but here is a recap of this phone’s main features.
Screen: 4.7″ 720×1280
Processor: 1.6GHz Quad-core
Storage: 8GB (microSD supported up to 64GB)
Camera: 8MP back, 1.6MP front
Full spec listings are available at GSMArena or Xiaomi Malaysia websites.
The new year has come and Chinese New Year is just around the corner. New clothes are a must for most Chinese communities but why stop there? With the Moto G launching, there’s finally an affordable but still good spec-ed Android phone from a reputable manufacturer. How much is it? Only RM698 for the 8GB or RM798 for the 16GB. You may be asking, at that kind of price, how good is this phone?
After being leaked in almost every way possible, Google has finally released the LG Nexus 5 for purchase from the Playstore. For those countries lucky enough to have access to that, orders have already started shipping and we will soon have reviews of the phone. Malaysia is still not one of those lucky countries to have access to purchasing devices directly from the Playstore and will have to wait patiently for LG to bring them in (at inflated prices most probably but here’s to hoping they do not). The LG Nexus 5 is listed at USD349 for the 16GB version while an extra USD50 (USD399) gets you the 32GB version. More after the break.
As October nears its end, one thing that many Android enthusiasts is waiting for is the launch of the new Android version and new Nexus devices that come with it.
After the highly popular (and cheap) Nexus 4 released by Google last year, anticipation is high for the new and upcoming Nexus 5. Various rumors have been circulating but one thing that has been confirmed quite a while back is that LG will be producing the Nexus 5.
