This weekend sees Liverpool taking on Bolton at Anfield after what can only be described as a epic failure against Wolves previously. Will Liverpool bounce back this week? Will Bolton lose a second consecutive match after their loss to Chelsea? What other matches are of interest to Yahoo Fantasy Managers?
Liverpool’s last game of the year was a home game against lowly Wolves who hasn’t been winning on the road.
On paper, it seems an easy win was on the cards for Liverpool who had their players rested for almost 3 weeks as they’ve missed 2 games due to weather. Many people assumed that Liverpool’s players would be well rested and would give Wolves a beating.
Instead, Wolves had more match practice and won at Anfield. This is a disappointing day for Liverpool supporters.
I sincerely hope that Hodgson can do much better next year to pull Liverpool back to 7th. Funds has been requested and will be given. Only question is probably how much. Yet, there can be no denying that a squad that packed Torres, Gerard, Kuyt and Reina should not have been beaten at home by Wolves.
While the lack of matches can be used as this one time excuse, excuses are running out and supporters’ patience are running thin.
Our next match is yet another home match on the 2nd of January and it is against Bolton this time. We need a win to kick start our year. Hodgson, you know you need to get a win. Another loss will severely dampen our spirits and damage our chances of being in the top half of the table come May.

As we look forward to a new decade, I take this opportunity to start a new blog.
There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, my new Samsung Wave (GT-S8500) has a WordPress application which allows me easy access and blogging capabilities.
Secondly, my old blogs over at Blogger have been very quiet and instead of reviving them, I will attempt to start here at WordPress. Hopefully, a new start at a new site with a new phone will rekindle my love for blogging and may this blog live longer than my previous attempts.
I will still keep my old blogs available for those who wish to read them but I will no longer be updating them at any time.
In this blog, I would like to keep my focus on gadget reviews, trip reviews and food reviews. If there’s anything you would like to read about, don’t hesitate to contact me at eric10234 at gmail dot com with your request and I will do what I can.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to a new blogging life here with my readers.
