Today will be just a quick update regarding Jelly Bean progress in the custom ROM world. On the official CM side of things, there are several devices tagged with the “works great” status. Samsung Galaxy SII – I9100G users are one of those who currently enjoy this status. The non-G versions, the S3 versions and the Galaxy Note versions still have some sound bugs that needs fixing (no sound for the moment). Head on over here to see what status is your device on currently.
For Galaxy Ace users, do not fret. Maclaw and team are also hard at work porting Jelly Bean over for you. However, they are still having quite a number of bugs and it is only on a pre-release status. Very early build and not usable as a daily driver yet. Head on over here to see what’s working and what’s not. Download links can also be found if you want to try.
Looking forward to some Jelly Bean goodness on my I9100. If anyone has tried Jelly Bean for I9100G or Galaxy Ace, do let me know how good/buggy it is. I would certainly love to get your impressions of it.
