Remember the case of the burnt Galaxy S3? Well, Samsung investigated the said phone and guess what?
It was ruled that the fire couldn’t have happened under normal operating circumstances. The only way they could reproduce the issue was if there was another heat source like a microwave oven.
The owner then retracted his claims and made it known that his phone had water exposure and the burning happened while he was trying to repair it.
Should Samsung ask him to return his free phone since water/fire damage from external source is probably not warrantied?
